Which plastics are safe to laser engrave.

How to get clean results.
- Confirm the plastic type and that it is laser-safe before running it.
- Start low power, high speed. Plastics need far less energy than wood; too much melts or distorts them.
- Run air assist and exhaust on every job to pull fumes away and keep the surface clean.
- Test on scrap of the same plastic — behavior varies a lot between types.
